Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or so they say. So start it off right with this delicious green smoothie.
And, if you are anything like me you don’t have 5 more secs to spare before breakfast so without further ado…
Ingredients:
- 1 medium Green Apple
- 1 cup milk of your choice (dairy, and unsweetened almond are good)
- 2 cups Kale shoots (broccoli are surprisingly good here too)
- 1 T Chai Seeds
- 1 T Flaxseed Meal
- 1-2 T Maple Syrup
- 1 T heaping Almond Butter
Directions:
- Measure all ingredients into a blender, chunking up the apple.
- Cheers! Enjoy your breakfast of champions.
Notes:
- I find things blend better if you add the apple last.
- If you like cold/icy smoothies you can sub some of the milk for a handful of ice cubes.
